There's far more to this exciting Basque city than the film festival, but it's certainly a worthy attraction, and a good time to visit for a spot of celeb-spotting.
Although the Basque Country exists as an administrative region, the Basque culture is alive and well in other parts of Spain and France, perhaps most obviously in the northern hills of Navarre.
